Accommodation services open all year round
Concerning our accommodation services we focus on three main points; tranquility, restfull nights and nutritious start to the day.
Taitomaja is a recently completed development consisting of four large self contained rooms. Each unit consists of kitchen (hob, fridge and washbasin), a large douple bed on ground floor and a mezzanine accommodating four people. All rooms have a bathroom with a shower. Taitomaja is accessible for wheelchair users.
We offer our customers a free wireless internet connection and a possibility to book a private sauna.
The breakfast is served in the communal dining room area, which in the evening is also available for our clients for their own dining purposes (microwawe supplied).
Our sportshall is available for light workouts for adults and many indoor games for the children to entertain them in the evenings. Taitomaja also boast wide outdoor area with many activities. The facilities are therefore exceptionally suitable for families with children and small groups.
In the beautiful and peacefull surrounding area of Pyhäjärvi, you will find several other activities suiting your indivual requirements, as riding, hiking, canoeing, skiing and fishing. You can also hire bikes, a boat, snow shoes and walk sticks from us.
Pyhäjärvi is also famous for Full Moon Dance Festival. In summertime you can dance traditional Finnish dances in the Pyhäsalmi Dance Hall (Pyhäsalmen suurlava).
Taitomaja and Pyhäjärvi are located in the middle of Finland and easily reachable by rail, road and also by private plane.
